lol, with the PlayStation 3, setup is pretty much nonexistent. With the PlayStation family, it's about letting everyone in on the fun, and not having this sort of "caste system" that you've got with the Xbox family.

My point exactly. Like I said, setup is nearly non-existent with the PlayStation 3. With the Xbox 360, you've got to go through this shit.

Yeah, with the PlayStation Portable, playing online became very easy. So SCEI is trying to do the same thing with the PlayStation 3, just making it real intuitive so you can get to the gaming part.

Halo on X-box live... Lappy plays that.
IM him sometime about that.
I play with him once in a very long while... but I totally suck.
For those who can't read properly, this is a topic about the x-box live, not Sony.

I guess... Unless it is a topic saying:
SONY TOTALLY ROCKS!!IT PAWNS EVERY OTHER COMPANY!!!
But he might take that as offense because the person would be using all capitals.

Maybe this he wouldn't:
Sony is better than every other gaming company!
But maybe he wouild take the gaming part as offense... Or the fact that we didn't use all capitals...
Tell lappy about x-box live. He's coming on now. IM.

I said ALMOST non-existent. Read. Also, you can't blame the Internet on Sony. Sony is not an ISP, which is what determines your connection speed. Most likely you have a bad ISP. I use DSL, not as fast as Cable, but more reliable.

Guess it's shitty Cable. The one I know of thatis faster than my DSL is Comcast. Either that or his connection method is bad.
Ceritheya
Jan 2 2007, 07:52 PM
Comcast has an ok connection...
Mine usually is really fast. The only time it lags is on a website with really few servers or in games. But that's mostly my sucky computer.

He has Comcast! So do I and both of are internets run smooth (on the computer) and faster then your piece of crap DSL.

Comcast is ok... I don't have a PS of any type.
I think you need to plug in internet for X-Box. I'm not sure.

Verizon DSL is a lot more reliable, from my experience and the accounts of others. I mean, I would rather have a 200hp Honda that doesn't break down than a shitty 500hp Ford. Fuck you, you motherfucking sack of shit.

No, it's not. Either you have never used it, or you're just denying the facts. The PlayStation Network has nearly all the features of XBox Live, but is more stable and has more frequent firmware updates.

The PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable combo is excellent, because you can use crosstalk objectives.

Even more supplemental functionality. With the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Portable can function as a very advanced remote controller with the Remote Play function. And in-game, the PlayStation Portable can function (for now) as a rear-view mirror in Gran Turismo 5 and Formula 1. Also, you can download original PlayStation games onto the PlayStation Portable via the PlayStation 3.

Yeah, Nintendo just doesn't have the vision. With the PlayStation family, it's all about doing everything possible to expand your options.
