Djbob brought up the point about bringing back Alice's Slashdot news; should we bring back Alice and news from some website (doesn't have to be Slashdot)? I had the feeling that not many people read Slashdot News on Krazy Letter.

When you did post on it, it was kind of interesting and the topics were very meaningfull but it isn't a very popular topic. Some but not many people went on it. I dont think you should bring back slashdot news. But it depends on whatever the majority votes.

A good idea would be to have the Slashdot news all listed there, and then when someone posted a reply to one it got automatically moved over to another forum for discussion.

i like that idea... I looked at slashdot news, but just skimmed headlines until i saw something interesting. Definitely bring Alice back, she was fun to argue with. Probably slashdot (or something else... happynews.com is fun but not necesarily big news so maybe both).

We should have some sort of RSS reader thing, in addition to blogs, forums, etc.
This RSS thing would be customizable, and you could go there for news,
just attach a "Post Topic" option, so the information from the RSS becomes a topic in our main forum...
Something like that...

and then it only becomes a topic if someone found it interesting... thats an awesome idea...

Okay, we all know that my source was better. You're all just voting against me to spite me. My source was what led me to be the only person on KL who knew that the new XBox was going to be called the XBox 360, and not the Xbox Next, as Balzac falsely claimed. Which is pretty sad, considering he works for Microsoft.

No one remembers what your old source is, dude, and how can we vote against you if this is the first time you've said anything about it on these forums? The world doesn't revolve around you.

Okay, this is more of a personal thing. But I've been talking to lappy about this for several years now, and he just refuses to relent. Trust me, even he knows it's reliable. He just refuses to use it to spite me.

This new mysrnnm does not sound like the old one. 'Course, I could be mistaken, I have been a lot. We'll know by his reaction to KC being reinstated as Mod.

myscrnnm sounds about the same, he hasn't had much opposition yet, however.

Did you mean "myusrnm" or "myscrnnm"?
