Here are some snowscape pics that I took. I just got a digital camera. Not the greatest one, bit old, but works fine.

A little soft, but I like them. I like the snow on the trees the best.

What do you mean by "soft"?
It was just a cool effect of the sun rising over the snowy trees, so I snappped a pic of them.

I was just reading on how to photograph snow yesterday! Anyways, what the article said: Turn up the exposure compensation; the auto comensator (or whatever it's called) tries to get a medium tone, but we all know that snow's bright, right? So turn it up so it looks bright and washed out (like it is in real life!).
Whatever snow is, it's not grey. And a cool side effect is that "washed out"ness of the trees will be even greater, so it would look even better.

By soft, I think he means it's just a tad blurry. They look great, though. I love random photos of stuff.

Soft, as in "not sharp"

Ooooh, nice try.

There was only an inch of snow. I woke up at 6, so the snow was unmelted and untouched.

There couldn't be two...
Still it seems like one, maybe one and a half maximum.
Plus, it rained before that and really didn't stick much to actual roads...
Well, that's what it looks like.
