What do you think of the WII, did you use it, and what did you play?

It's pretty cool in my opinion. The MII's are cool, even though their graphic detail is at loss... Share your sports techniques, your records, and such.

Myscrnnm, please don't come in here and swear at everybody who wants to talk about the WII. This topic is about the WII, not Sony. Actually, stay OUT. And whoever hates the WII. This is for people who actually aren't biased against stuff made by the Nintendo. No flaming, like I said. NO. Now, obsessed Sony fanboys, japanophiles, or excessively swearing racists all stay out. Or if you're all of these... also stay out... As I said in my post before my edit, there's no reason for you to come in and start swearing or killing the people who appreciate a good game console like the WII.

The Wii is quite possibly the stupidest video game console ever conceived (at least for home consoles, the DS could give the Wii a run for its money). Never in the history of the world have I seen a stupider idea. I've seen video game consoles that lack originality, but at least they performed well and had good games. But the Wii, it doesn't even have that. With the Wii, you are paying an exhorbitant amount of money to act like an idiot and be portrayed as an idiot.

Not only does it have no good games, but it can't do anything else. What it completely lacks is functionality even on the most basic level. With the Xbox 360, although there is no next-generation storage medium, at least you can watch DVD movies. With the Wii, you can't even play DVDs (at least, not for now). What makes this even more stupid is that Nintendo at least had an excuse for no movie-playback on the GayCube, but this is simply unacceptable. There is also a mere storage capacity of 512MB, not even a mere gigabyte. With the original Xbox, there was already 8GB. In this age of multimedia devices, you can't have something of this size have anything less than 4GB, and all of the competition has had several gigabytes of storage for the last two generations.

Now, regarding the Wii, the games I've played are Wii Sports, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, GT Pro, and Monster 4x4. All of which have graphics roughly equal to those of sixth-generation video game consoles, and GT Pro having the graphics that even the original Gran Turismo game could have.

I hope you're happy, I didn't talk about Sony or the PlayStation.

I'm not even considering buying a Wii. Evar.

How would you play the Zelda game on it? Have the wiimote to slash and then the "numchuck" (hell if I know how to spell it) in another hand so you can actually move? Doesn't sound that great.
On an unrelated note, I got the LoZ game's soundtrack with a 1/8 scale master sword + hylian shield from target. Whee.

Maybe I should edit my first post. Remember, no flaming. I personally think the WII is pretty cool. I don't care about the DVD thing, as we have a 360. To play LoZ, I don't know. I don't have any games.

It's better than just pressing buttons with the PSs and GameCube.

I'm not buying a console or deciding on which, I do that a year after the console comes out so I can get the one with the best games, which sadly might end up costing me $599.

It's more family focused. People can play FPS games, but the main focus is family-friendly.

Back when the Europeans were still using heavy and movement-inhibiting breastplates, the Japanese had very advanced woven armour that was lightweight and allowed for more freedom of movement.
