Visual Styles > Windows Blinds. Why? VS uses less RAM and is a lot less clunky. Windows Blinds one of the options for systems older than XP, however.

A better thing to do when using XP is to do what myusrnm posted.

theres another program called Tweak UI and you can change random things in that too... i can't remember what and I found it hard to use... but someone who's really techy wouldn't.

see, the best thing about windows blinds is it is really easy to use. plus you can create your own.

You can do that in just about anything. Personally, I prefer a shell replacement altogether for more options.

There is no such thing as Windows Blinds. The thing you are referring to is a computer program called WindowBlinds that allows you to acquire and use different skins for the Windows OS's user interface.

Nice, feels like a balance between Windows Vista and Mac OS X. However, could have been more refined.

I'm currently addicted to some of the stuff on studiotwentyeight. At a really simple black theme called Foton.

I'm using the Zune theme, which is based on the Media Centre theme, but brown, with orange trim.

Aero alone makes Windows Vista better than Linux.
