How much CPU power is a "LOT"?
A Celeron? A Pentium? A Pentium D? A multi-core Xeon?
I'd be more worried about the quality of bandwidth too, because you'd want low latency bandwidth for VOIP stuff.
A basic DSL line can handle a bunch of connections. the standard VOIP service uses only around .5KB/s~1KB/s.
I don't really know about how much of the CPU it takes, though >_>
