which makes it 399/499
and the xbox 360 is 299/399

Really, if you're getting an xbox, I've heard the 399 system is pretty much required, which makes the price now equal to the ps3 at 20 gb. plus you have to pay for xbox live.

Also, i think it's Circuit City that'll have a promotion, and you'd be able to get the ps3 for this price, before the announcement at e3.

So, really I can't see a reason I'd want a 360 over a ps3. Sure, halo3, but it really doesn't excite me that much.

Not to mention with the Xbox 360 the wireless adapter costs $99, HD DVD for $199, and a decent memory card reader/USB hub will run you around $20. Then you need the Play and Charge Kit, which is god knows how much.

And you're damn straight there are no good games. Halo 3 has got to be the most overrated game for the latter half of the year. Personally, the only games I'd get are the Dead or Alive series. I think it's time you got a PlayStation 3.

Yeah. Personally, I think it's great that SCEI has reduced the weight as well as the fatness. However, the removal of the IR port, and downfiring speakers, is bad IMO. But like the SCPH-70000 series, I expect this model of the PSP is for softcore gamers. Not to mention since my PSP is from when it was first released, it's Made in Japan. All the new ones are made in China.

Sony just pulled a stupid move - they stopped production of the 60 GB model. Why...? They just returned the price right back to what it was. Now they're force-charging us $100 for 20 GB. HDD space hasn't cost that much since the 1990s >_<

No, you don't really get it. From the upgraders' point of view, this is just fine. The difference between 60GB and 80GB is negligible if you need more HDD space. If you really needed a lot of HDD space, you'd be upgrading it to like over 100GB in the first place anyway. So they'd still be spending the same amount of money. Plus, you get a free copy of MotorStorm.

Doesn't matter. With the PlayStation 3, you get a rechargable battery FOR FREE. And it comes with the charging cable, which might I mention is also standard USB.

Wow, most of those games suck, except for perhaps Splinter Cell. Except Metal Gear Solid pwns Splinter Cell, thus nullifying it. PGR is total crap. PGR3 on the Xbox 360 looked worse than Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec on the PlayStation 2, which is five years older.

and with the ps3 controller, the cable is only 6 inches long and once it dies, you need to go get it replaced, instead of teh option of batteries

and those games don't suck, i've played demos for some of them already, and they rock

Actually, I OWN a PlayStation 3. The cable is a LOT longer than six inches. And Sony Computer Entertainment replaces the controllers for free once the batteries are dead. When the batteries in the Xbox 360 controller die, you have to BUY new ones.
