Are you kidding? Come over to my house and lets play a few rounds of StarCraft.

I've been a fan of the Age of Empires series, and when I play Starcraft it seems very slow. However, I'm told that most Starcraft games last a few hours unless you're on a money map. Most AoE games last 20 minutes to one hour.

One criticism that I've heard of the Starcraft II game is that most of the units are "glass cannons" -- meaning that they all do lots of damage but have little hitpoints, compared to the original Starcraft.

However, since I haven't played Starcraft much, I wouldn't really be able to give a good opinion on the new game. However, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Starcraft since the original Starcraft was wildly popular, and I'd like to be able to try an up-to-date version of it.

For StarCraft's speed, try setting the Game Speed to Fastest, the default is Normal. People who don't play typically say that, but I don't have much trouble, when you micro time doesn't seem to be long enough. As for the "glass cannons", the little hitpoints make them easy target for Immortals with sheilding designed to deflect strong attacks and quick, light infantry like the Reapers. Blizzard keeps saying that everything is subject to change, as I have seen. I think the graphics should be completely redone. It looks a lot more like Command & Conquer than StarCraft because of that one guy on the develpoment team who used to work on C&C. They have some new units, but for every new unit one old unit is removed so they get to what is really needed and unneeded. All for the balencing. Prett much nothing has been revealed for Zerg, so expect another over haul when they are revealed. Terrean was revealed, what, 6 days ago?

I might get that. But I'm thinking of getting Bioshock first.
