MoH, Call of Duty, they're all the same. Same guns, since they're based off of real ones in WWII Times, same enemies, the Nazies, and the same plot, since they're all the same story since they can't make anything up since it really happened. Now games like Halo, Ressistance: Fall of Man, Crysis, Hellgate: London, they all have unique plots and stories. Once you've play one WWII games, you've played them all.
WWII games are really different; many different armies and many different theaters make it very replayable...For example, different armies had different weapons. Also, different troops had different weapons (think of the US vs. Japan versus US. vs. Germany). Also, you can do battles from both perspectives (think of the Germans perspective too).
Also, you can think of the different games as different versions of the same game. (By your logic, why buy Halo 2? You have similar weapons and fight similar enemies. Why buy Halo 3? You have similar weapons and similar enemies. )
Right. They're all similar, but different enough to make you want to buy it. And the storyline? In WWII games, the story is not to WIN the war...it's usually disconnected battles, or following the "life" of one soldier in a series of battles.
Hope this clears some things up.
